    I Am a Computer Service Engineer and I've installed many antivirus like kaspersky, K7, McAfee, Avast etc in many hundred
    systems.

    But recently only I Am using ESET Nod32 Products. It has many advantages over others.

    > Easy to activate, email id and mobile number required.

    > Download latest version 9.0 if necessary (32 and 64 bit versions are available)

    > Update antivirus before scanning, update requires 20 to 30 MB only.

    > Update is automatic, but can be configured to update manually.

    > It removes all threats instantly.

    > The scanning and removing of threats are done silently.

    > It works silently in the background, don't make unnecessary noises. Don't show irritating popup messages or

    notifications.

    > All messages and notifications are displayed in the main Antivirus window only.

    > A summary of scanning will be shown after System or USB scanning is completed.

    > Scanning is comparatively fast.

    > Not much human interface is required for its working.

    > Best for people who want to work at peace.

    > Price is low compared to Kaspersky, K7 etc.

    Microsoft Essentials is more than enough if you don't yank in ten different pen drives a day into the USB port. However, it was interfering with one software I was using. Luckily, this one popped up while casually looking through the Amazon app. A sweet deal for Rs 190. Arrived earlier than mentioned, installed and is working nicely. One issue I faced initially: whenever I would switched on the computer, it would nearly hang; this was not a problem before installing NOD 32. On a closer inspection I realized that it would search for Windows update whenever the computer is switched on and this search would almost halt it. Takes good several minutes to stand on its feet again. Mercifully, the software has an option to disable the search for Windows update. Once I done that, things are buttery smooth. It is light on the system, no noticeable sluggishness.

    First of all the antivirus is superlight. I am just a student so I really don't need mcafee or Kaspersky which I previously checked out. They use too much RAM. ESET is nice.
    Now the main thing is that some of the customers have faced the issue with activation. I have also faced it and thought at first that there is something wrong with the product but I was wrong. So for future customers I want to leave a small note about activation.
    After installing the antivirus DO NOT try to activate the license. After installing it you will find that all internet connections are blocked and browsers will not work. So, here are the steps-
    Install the antivirus -> Go to hidden icons and look for the ESET icon -> right click on it -> Advanced Setup -> Go to Update tab -> Then go to HTTP Proxy ->Proxy mode -> Change the mode to " Do not use proxy server". Then go to Tools tab -> Proxy server -> Uncheck the "Use proxy server" (By default this is unchecked given by a 'x' sign -> apply the settings -> Restart the computer -> Now the license dialog box will appear -> Now use the License key.

    Received a 3 year license for nod32 A/v for around rs 450,which i must say is fairly cheap(officially its priced at around Rs 1000).The key included with the product worked just fine and activated my copy of eset for a 3 year period.However one thing i didn't like about it was the way the key was provided-ideally it should have been included in a piece of paper(or something similar)inside the package containing the disc with the antivirus,but instead of that they have printed it on a flimsy sticker that's stuck right below the flap which one's supposed to tear open while unpacking,and so there's a good chance that one might accidentally end up damaging the sticker itself while trying to open the package.And i don't suppose the vendor or eset will issue another key to you if you end up losing the one that's included with your copy-so one needs to be careful while unpacking this thing.

    Also this was supposed to come with another 6 month license key for eset mobile security-however i found no such thing in the one they sent me(not that i need one,but having it anyway would have been an added bonus).Apart from that i really have no reason to complaint-the item was priced reasonably and was delivered really quick,so i am quite happy with my overall experience in buying this product.
