Star Wars: Battlefront's next DLC launches the week after E3

Lando!!!

Star Wars Battlefront's second round of premium DLC, Bespin, launches June 21, Electronic Arts has announced.

That date is for holders of Battlefront's season pass subscription; Bespin will go on sale a la carte two weeks later.

Bespin is set in and around Cloud City, the enchanting tibanna gas mining operation from The Empire Strikes Back, helmed by the suave and debonair Lando Calrissian. The city's baron-administrator will join the game as a playable hero. This is his first non-Lego appearance in a console video game since 2002's Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast.

The playable bad guy will be Dengar the bounty hunter/hobo. Cloud City's iconic Twin Pod Cloud Car will be added to the vehicle fleet. New weapons include the X-8 Night Sniper and the EE-4 blaster and, yes, there will be a map set in the infamous carbon freezing chamber.

EA says additional game modes, star cards, blasters and maps will arrive alongside Bespin; typically these are part of a monthly update available to all players of the game.
