Teleport Helps You Find a Better City to Live and Work In

There are a million factors that go into choosing a new city to move to. Teleport can help by comparing the city you live in to others that might suit your needs better.

When you first sign up, Teleport will ask you to provide a few factors you’re looking for like education system, healthcare, and so on. Then, you’ll be asked a few basic questions about your income, career, and current rent budget. You can adjust these factors later on.

Then, the site will show you a list of cities around the world that you might want to live in (rather frustratingly, I kept having to exclude other continents from the list, but that’s a minor quibble). The meat of the site, though, is in each city’s profile page. You can click the name of a city and see comparisons between things like commute, cost of living, and job market. You can also compare potential yearly budgets. It’s not a perfect comparison system and you’ll still probably need to do some of your own research, but it can help point you in the right direction. Geographically speaking.
