The meeting of the Bats took place in a seasonal Halloween shop. The two actors were out buying costumes for their kids, not Batman costumes for themselves, as Conan O’Brien joked on Thursday’s special edition episode of Conan. “The first thing I thought was, ‘Christian Bale’s British?'” Affleck said. Of course, they talked about Batman. Affleck praised the former Dark Knight for his role in Christopher Nolan’s trilogy, and in return, Bale offered this useful nugget: “Look, mate, just make sure you’ve got a zipper in that suit.
