Isabelle Cowley murder accused committed for trial

A woman has made a second appearance in court charged with murdering her four-year-old daughter.

Rachael Cowley, 42, from Shenval, Glenurquhart, has also been charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice.

She appeared in private before Sheriff Ian Abercrombie at Inverness Sheriff Court.

The body of Isabelle Cowley was found in the grounds of Raigmore Hospital, in Inverness, on 23 February.

Ms Cowley has previously made no plea or declaration.

She has been remanded in custody.
