Kinda miss having text chats past midnight…
Personal chats mind you, not work chats lol 😁
…but hey, midnight chats, that’s what prayers are for.

#personalNotes to self:
1. Do not let frustrations get in the way of professional civility.
2. Set boundaries: which communications channels are professional, which channels are personal.
Don’t let everything become everything; and if it has, take steps to remedy.
JUST TO BE CLEAR : my Tumblr & WordPress are personal. I’m setting this post to public as a matter of public record.
Maybe I should set up a Link-Dump tumblr, separate from my main personal tumblr blog…
I dunno. We’ll see.
You will always be in a state of cognitive dissonance. The only thing you can do is to choose which worldview you will subscribe to and to mold it, as best you can, to match the realities you experience each day, in so far that you can still cognitively and emotionally function.
Your worldview will always, always differ from the worldviews of all humans around you. Most cases only ever so slightly, but more often than you would expect quite significantly in numerous enough cases. You cannot ever satisfy the cognitive dissonances experienced by others, nor can you possibly perfectly overcome the cognitive dissonances you yourself experience. You can, and in fact you must, choose which theories to subscribe to and which theories to reject, and you don’t have to share all with everyone, and even fulfill all demands thrusted upon you by all others around you. Keep yourself together. It’s the best you can do.
Grow. And expect that others will attempt to tear you down, maliciously or not, intentionally or not. Keep moving. Life’s a bicycle ride, kinda. You only keep upright by keeping on moving.
If you’re sad don’t try to be happy, instead think about how things can be much much sadder, then prepare for that.
If you’re naively happy, don’t try to be more rational, instead think about how things can be much happier, then fight for that.
Plenty of times it’s no use fighting against your natural emotional inclinations. Sometimes you just have to use it to your advantage.
And sometimes you don’t even have time to think about all this, you’re in the moment, and the only thing you can do is…
Do.
Instead of agonizingly fighting hard to eliminate bad habits, how about focusing instead on developing good habits?
Being too invested in identity can sometimes kill your spirit.
Sometimes it could encourage you, perhaps, but sometimes it makes you feel so small that you feel crushed.
If the arena becomes too crowded, too suffocating, remember to step back & step out. Recuperate. Don’t look at how far behind you seem to be, look at how far you’ve traveled.
Solipsism and sophistry are two things that get under my skin, because I don’t even know what the heck they mean.
And no, I have no interest whatsoever to find out what they actually mean.
And I have ever lesser and lesser interest in ever trying to learn or find out.

My source of happiness is… I don’t know.
I do know though that I don’t enjoy being asked what my source of happiness is. Especially at moments when I don’t know or am not sure.
I do think that I sometimes know what my source of happiness is though. Just not at this time of publishing.
–
And if drawing and/or writing is really my source of happiness? I should be ecstatic right now. (And I’m not.)
Gratefulness is an important component of happiness, though. I’m sure. I’m sticking with this theorem.
——
A significant source of my current unhappiness is my clogged-up, hard-to-breathe nostrils. And my sore throat.
There are others, but I’ll list these two for this moment.

I also don’t like that I always have homework.
And I always have homework. Always.
I also dislike being a fragile snowflake.
And/or being perceived as one. (By my own self and/or others.)

Kindness.
Forgiveness.
Humility.
Love.
Lol :)) To quote:
The Fallout TV series season 1 in a nutshell
For the record I personally love it. The show, the franchise, and this cartoon as well.
