Dizzy202 Just wanted to move on and do other things, I guess.  And it is easier to turn down 99 million dollars when you've already made a ton of money playing the part and could still make a large amount of money playing other roles instead.

YoePoeJoe By no means am I downplaying that and I do believe that played a part in his decision to walk away which is a perfectly reasonable decision.  I'm just saying his comments on this franchise and the character vastly changed from Skyfall to Spectre and his performance in Spectre really seemed like he really wasn't happy and didn't want to be there

He is probably holding out for more, and no Tom Hiddleson... Idris Elba is the man for the job. 

kylexile Soldier_7 FITSniper Only one I could actually say was ok was Skyfall.  I didn't like the Casino Royale or the one after it. Spectre was, meh. I'm just done with him, he was the worst Bond of them all, I want cheesy Bond again.

Fantomex1985 - I'm not blaming him for the lack of "awesomeness" with Spectre.  That was clearly directing and writing.  But he just gave this vibe like he was just tired of it all.  Even during the press tour he seemed "annoyed" and "frustrated" that he had to promote another one.

YoePoeJoe Yeah Spectre was a bit of a let down, not the worst Bond by any stretch, but not as good as the other Craig era Bonds.

It's a shame if this is true as Daniel Craig has been the truest interpretation of Bond to date, but it's not unexpected. Hiddleston is an interesting choice and I can see him being quite a different Bond and think he'd do quite well but I'd still really like to see Michael Fassbender as the next 007.

No, no and no.  Movies need not bend to being P.C.  Wasn't Anni enough.  Bond is white sorry.  If bond becomes a black man I demand the remake of Roots be white people and take place in present day about how a white man stands no chance and is discriminated for not being black and their only saving grace is if the are or act gay.

Black transgender, bullied, homeless, sexually abused on your resume will land you a job as bond for sure to make everyone feel equal
