Breathtaking 360-Degree Ski Video Made With Just iPhone And String

This proves that budget equipment can produce amazing results.

You don't need a lot of money to make an epic ski video.

Just ask Nicolas Vuignier, who's done exactly that using his iPhone 6 and a piece of string.

The 25-year-old professional freeskier from Switzerland tied the gadget to the cord and swung it around his head as he slalomed down the slopes.

The resulting footage, titled "Centriphone," is simply breathtaking and is so slick, it looks like a professional crew filmed it.

Although the equipment is basic, filming the clip wasn't that simple.

Vuignier said it took almost two years of "tinkering and tweaking" to get the final result. "No iPhones were harmed during the making of this video (I still use it everyday)," he added.

It's unclear exactly where he filmed the clip, but it was uploaded to YouTube on Friday. By early Saturday, it had already racked up more than 750,000 views.
