If you want a photo with Amy Schumer, ask nicely!
News flash to fans seeking photos with celebs: While you are legally allowed to take a picture of them, they are not legally mandated to pose for it.
Well, you'd think that was just common sense but apparently one guy in Greenville, S.C., almost ruined it for the rest of us.
The comedian was so upset over the encounter that she wrote about it on Instagram Saturday afternoon, sharing a picture of the oblivious offender.
"This guy in front of his family just ran up next to me scared the (expletive) out of me," she said. "Put a camera in my face. I asked him to stop and he said, "No it's America and we paid for you."
She was so worked up about it at the time that she said she was swearing off taking photos with fans, but she walked back the threat later in the day after getting support from others who agreed the guy was out of line.
OK, here's Schumer's revised policy: "I'll still take pictures with nice people when I choose to, if it's a good time for that."
But she wants to be perfectly clear about something here: "I don't owe you anything."
