In less than a week, Grand Puba Maxwell will finally release his fifth solo outing, Black From the Future, via storied indie label Baby Grande Records.
The album, which follows up on 2009’s Retroactive, has already birthed the third-eye opening, socio-political single “UDK” and today, the Brand Nubian emcee once again turns heads with “It’s Been A While,” a 90s dancehall-themed slapper produced by Puba himself.
