A BOURNEMOUTH resident who worked for an engineering firm on Poole Quay can date Martin Huse’s harbour picture printed on March 30.
He worked for the company next to the Poole Harbour Commissioners office, far right, just out of the picture.
Parking on the quay was free so many workers parked their vehicles there all day. In July 1977 he changed his car for a distinctive bright yellow Triumph Spitfire, which can be seen parked next to a Jaguar in the centre of the picture.
He left the company in September the following year. So the date would be either the summer of 1977 or 1978.
