Supply becoming restrained? Best Buy is nearly completely out of stock

Might be nothing, but thought it was interesting. Best Buy is nearly completely out of stock of the 12" MacBook, with only one configuration currently in stock. That model is also a full $100 cheaper than the next retailer (on the Buyer's Guide, at least). Let's cross our fingers this is a hint at an imminent update.

They had a sale a few weeks ago ($300 off the 1.2 512GB version), and supply pretty much got emptied then.

Stores around me went from having supply, to being empty after that.

It's interesting that Best Buy's webpage doesn't even show them as "out of stock", those models are just gone completely from the search results (maybe because they're not coming back..?). Although I'll admit I'm not familiar with Best Buy's normal procedure for out of stock products.

As reported in another thread, delivery dates for rMBs are now weds, whereas all other off-the-shelf macs are Tuesday. Points to a refresh on tues this week perhaps?

It was like that a few weeks ago when I was waiting to buy mine. Models would come and go.

Out of all the mac on the website its the rMB that ships the latest this week, friday compared to wed for pro and airs.
