Oh My God, The Riddler And The Joker Were Almost In "Batman V. Superman"

    ::stifles squeals of joy::

    This Friday, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will finally debut in theaters across America.

    The premiere for the highly anticipated film was held last night in New York City.

    And although there's an embargo on reviews for the film right now, some people who had the opportunity to see it at the premiere tweeted their spoiler-free thoughts.

    I haven't felt this giddy after watching a movie since The Avengers. Goosebumps. Everywhere. Need to talk about it ASAP. #BVSPremiere

    Folks handsomely praised the movie.

    Just saw #BatmanvSuperman - can't say anything about it until Tues 6pm EST, but I can say something about the tickets: BUY EM!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

    Some even say it's on par with films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

    Also, naysayers... Zack Snyder + Chris Terrio = WIN. You want a race, well DC may have just caught up with one movie. #BatmanvSuperman

    And thankfully, it's apparently better than Man of Steel.

    Orders of magnitude better than MAN OF STEEL. #BatmanvSuperman

    Well, if that makes you excited, you'll be glad to know that director of the film, Zack Snyder, toyed with the idea of putting two super-famous villains in Dawn of Justice.

    During an interview with Collider, Snyder said, "The Joker and The Riddler both came close to being in this movie. We talked about the possibility of putting them in."

    Snyder added that he and screenwriter Chris Terrio didn't follow through with it because the "mythological presence" of those characters will be felt in the film.

    OK, so they're not in this one but promise you'll put them in the sequel?

    The world would be forever thankful.
