That was super creepy.
Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush said Wednesday night that he was looking forward to the new “Supergirl” TV series because the show’s main character looked “pretty hot.”
The lagging 2016 contender was asked during a question-and-answer session during a Las Vegas campaign event who his favorite Marvel superhero was.
At first, Bush, struggled to come up with an answer, but he quickly found his answer.
“I saw that ‘Supergirl’ is on TV,” he said. “I saw it when I was working out this morning. There’s an ad promoting ‘Supergirl.’ She looked kind of — she looked pretty hot.”
Supergirl was created by DC Comics in 1959 as a female counterpart to Superman. CBS picked up a television series based on the character featuring former “Glee” actress Melissa Benoist, who is 27.
The show will begin airing Oct. 26.
Bush, who is 62, also said he liked Batman.
“I’m kind of old school,” he said. “I like the old school guys like Batman, a little dark these days.”
