Abstract: Objective: To understand the characteristics of adverse drug reactions(ADRs) occurred in our hospital and to promote rational drug use in clinic. Methods: The ADRs reported in our hospital during during 2013-2014 were collected,in which the age and gender of patients as well as route of administration,involved drug species and clinical manifestation were analyzed. Results: A total of 138 cases of ADRs were collected,most of which(102,73.91%) occurred in the patients at ages of more than 45 years. A total of 72 drug species were involved,most of which(17 species,23. 61%) were antibacterials resulting in 40 cases(28.99%) of ADRs. A majority(110 cases,79.71%) of ADRs were caused by intravenous drip. The main clinical manifestations were the injuries of skin and its appendages(65 cases,34.21%). Conclusion: Monitoring should be strengthened on elders,the use of antibacterials and intravenous administration,and patients ’ education should be strengthened so as to reduce occurrence of ADR.
