1 Child Sex Abuse Charge; Cops Seek Other Victims
Police urge anyone with information about Buchanan 72-year-old Calman Greenburg to call.
New York State Police announce the arrest of Calman Greenburg, 72, of Buchanan, NY, following a lengthy investigation.
On July 18, Greenburg was charged with one count of Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the First Degree, a Class “B” Felony (NYS Penal Law 130.75).
It is alleged that over the course of several years, Greenburg sexually assaulted a victim under the age of 13 at a residence in the Verplanck section of Cortlandt.
Pursuant to this investigation, additional victims have come forward reporting they were abused by Greenburg. It is anticipated that the defendant will face additional charges.
Greenburg was arraigned in Cortlandt Town Court and sent to Westchester County Jail without bail. He is due back in Cortlandt Town Court July 20.
