Coldplay kicked off their world tour with a homecoming gig for singer Chris Martin at Radio One's Big Weekend in Exeter.

Bands including The Last Shadow Puppets, Biffy Clyro, Ellie Goulding and grime artists Skepta and Stormzy played to around 50,000 people at the free event.
