Glassdoor_4.jpgHubSpot is proud today to announce that it has been named #4 on Glassdoor’s “Best Places to Work” list for large companies. With a ranking of 4.4/5.0, HubSpot joins the list for the first time, alongside only a handful of other businesses in the country with a ranking above 4.0.

“We’re thrilled to be listed among some of the most well-known culture-driven companies in the country,” said Dharmesh Shah, HubSpot’s Co-founder and CTO. “Every HubSpotter is dedicated to making this a great place to work and Glassdoor’s recognition is another affirmation that the effort is working.”

HubSpot joins the ranks of the country’s most-prominent tech companies, like AirBnB (#1), Facebook (#5), LinkedIn (#6), Google (#8), and Apple (#25). HubSpot was also one of four Boston companies to make the top 50 ranking, along with Bain & Company (#2), Boston Consulting Group (#7), and Akamai (#31).

Earning coverage from sources like Bloomberg, CNN, and CBS, Glassdoor’s annual list and anonymous, crowd-sourced ranking system is considered the gold standard for employee satisfaction. The online employer database is a premier resource for candidates to source raw employee feedback while searching for jobs.

Glassdoor’s ranking for large companies is based off of their anonymous employee feedback survey, which is available to companies with at least 1,000 employees. The list is then calculated based on the overall employee ratings during the previous year.

In similar news, HubSpot was also named #28 on the 50 Best Workplace for Camaraderie list by Fortune.com and Great Place to Work®. Reaching the list for the first time, HubSpot ranked among companies like Yelp, Quicken Loans, and The Boston Consulting Group.

The list analyzes data from Great Place to Work's Trust Index© Employee Survey, and uses it to rank workplaces based on the quality of personal connections employees experience with colleagues. The survey looks at how comfortable people feel being themselves, the strength of teams, and how friendly, cooperative, and fun the workplace is.
