How did you come up with the name? It’s my name so I thought why not use it as I’m the company. My services are very personal so you know that you will be working directly with me.

Why start a business in this town? I have lived in Hastings on Hudson since 1996. I love living here, and I love the small town feel. It made sense to me to stay in the town where I live.

Briefly, what business are you in? I’m a professional organizer. I help people organize their homes and small businesses.I also help people get their homes or apartments ready for sale by going through their belongings so the residence sells easier and usually for more of a profit. I have a small niche of compulsive hoarding clients that I work with as well. I’m a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers, and the Institute of Challenging Disorganization. These organizations provide me with the education and support I need to help my clients.

What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner? The most difficult challenge has been actually making the decision to open the business. I knew I was good at organization, but I wasn’t sure I could transfer skills to people to become organized. I learned after my first client that I had the patience and expertise to help my clients. I’m so happy I followed my gut and went forward.

What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening? My proudest moment has been knowing that I’m helping people in need of help. If a person is willing to take suggestions and try to change progress happens! This makes me so happy!

How does your business give back or get involved in the community? I have given back by giving some free hours to those in need. I also have given 3 hour sessions to silent auctions within the Hastings on Hudson community.
