Global Cruiserweight Series

As of this time, WWE’s new Global Cruiserweight Series is not expected to tape on nights that NXT is recorded at Full Sail University. The current plan would see WWE record a few weeks of content at a time, with NXT taping on Thursdays, and the GCS taping on it’s on night for a separate taping, likely Friday nights, but this could change.

Chris Jericho

Since there aren’t any dates scheduled for Fozzy as of right now, there’s no set end date for Chris Jericho’s current WWE run.

AJ Styles

There were discussions in WWE about AJ Styles being allowed to continue using the Styles Clash as his finisher, with Vince McMahon wanting to be cautious about it after finding out about Yoshitatsu’s broken neck to due taking the move incorrectly.

Styles did end up using the Clash to defeat Curtis Axel, but the decision to use the Calf Crusher going forward was made after that. Styles hadn’t teased and used the move after being told to use the Crusher, but Chris Jericho reportedly wanted the Clash included in their PPV match. Since the move made it into the match without issue it’s believed the Clash is ‘okayed’ to be used again, but the Calf Killer is expected to continue to be Styles’ finisher.
