Erratic Driving Leads to DWI Arrest for Tarrytown Man

The incident occurred Wednesday on Rt. 100 in Somers.

Tarrytown resident Carlos H. Criollo, 34, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of Driving While Intoxicated, and other traffic violations, Wednesday, according to state police.

A caller reported that a Ford F-350, later to be discovered that Criollo was driving, was seen traveling erratically on Route 100 in Somers.

Criollo was subsequently located and stopped by the responding officer. While interviewing Criollo, ”Troopers observed clues that indicated he was intoxicated at the time of the traffic stop,” said police said.

At the state police facility, Criollo supplied a breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .14 percent, which is above the legal limit. He was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Somers Court on November 30.
