The latest ads in Ford's "Overdubs" series of YouTube spots — previous ads have used footage from shows like Captain Planet — features Solid Snake and Col. Roy Campbell in a dramatic codec conversation about the carmaker's Ford Focus SE and its gas mileage, which likely surpasses Metal Gear in EPA estimates.
The Ford YouTube ad above, "A Codec Call to Remember," features the voices of Metal Gear Solid actors David Hayter and Paul Eiding discussing the "Practical Vehicular Action" of the Ford Focus while dropping no shortage of Metal Gear references.
Another ad features Psycho Mantis trying to sell Solid Snake on a different Ford model, the 2017 Ford Fusion Titanium. Mantis' mind-reading skills would be the envy of any car salesman. Watch him do what he can to put Snake in this car today.
