Stratford Man Is Accused of Using Knife to Threaten His Family
Police were called by relatives who said a large knife was used to threaten them in their Greenwich home.
A Stratford man with a history of convictions on assault, harassment and weapons charges, is facing disorderly and threatening charges after he was found to have threatened family members with a large knife in their Greenwich home.
According to a Greenwich Police report, the 26-year-old Stratford resident was arrested Monday night after his family called police and said he threatened them before leaving the home.
Shortly after 9 p.m. April 13, the suspect, identified as Kristopher T. Chimblo, of Coe Avenue, Stratford, was found in the neighborhood of his family’s home and arrested.

Chimblo was remanded to the custody of the state without bond per the orders of his parole officer, according to the police report. Chimblo has a series of convictions dating back to 2007, according to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website. He was scheduled to appear April 14 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
