For some reason, this was extremely satisfying to watch.

If you include the peripherals, how much does this all come to?

OVER $9000!!! Realistically the monitors themselves are about 9 grand.

Hey, I'm not sure this wasn't discussed in the first video, but: how do you do for the network? For the LAN part especially.

Do you have a switch/router?
Yes - Do you have 7 ethernet ports? Are you sharing a single interface? If the latter, how was the latency? Was the controller holding up?
No - Then were you using some kind of unRaid vlan to create a LAN between the 7 OS? How was the latency?

@nicklmg Looks like it's time to check the camera. Might be a dead pixel in the CMOS.

No offense, but your watching a video about a machine that can handle 7 gamers playing at around 90fps! And your annoyed because theres one tiny white pixel that you can't even hardly notice unless you pause the video at an exact moment where it passes over a dark background... Srsly? The OCD is strong in this one...

Not to chose sides, but if you were to look at the youtube comments there was an mass panic about this dead pixel. Many believed that they had a faulty monitor, and some even considered to RMA their monitor.

There might be some of those that do not do an check if it's their dead pixel, and would just send their monitor in. Boy will they be upset to find out that it was just part of the video.

I don't really care. I didn't notice it.

Still though... even if it WAS your monitor and had nothing to do with the video. Don't you think replacing an entire monitor because of one white speck is a bit ridiculous, not to mention wasteful? I mean I could understand if it were a clump of pixels, or a spot, or a section on your screen not working, or nearly any other defect. But a SINGLE pixel? xD

I agree with you. It would be stupid, and a waste of time. Most manufactures will not pay return shipping cost. That alone will be 20-30 dollars. Then waiting an month... Some people are perfectionist.

Not to mention that if there was a genuine concern about it being your monitor, then theres a really simple thing you can do to check. Click off of the video, to literally any other window, or your desktop. If the dot isn't there anymore then its the content. Honestly, if someone doesn't try clicking another window before they RMA their monitor, then I have absolutely no sympathy...

Fixing dead pixels in postproduction is anything but hard. They'll probably adapt soon

Found an insanely good deal for a VPS by Time4VPS (Lithuania). Warning: I don't have a lot of experience with them yet, if you had any bad experience, please PM me. /// Warning2 (Sorry, should have added this earlier): Very Low Disk IO

1 x 2.4GHz (E5 2630 v3), 512MB RAM, 20GB SSD cached Raid 6, 500GB Traffic => ~$17.5 (15.84€) + Tax for 2 years (Prebuild Servers)

No offense taken. But I still feel the need to explain myself. LMG is a media production company. They thrive because they have a high quality standard. They'll care about dead pixels in their cameras even if we don't.

I didn't notice until near the end of the video. You're right in that aspect. I simply figured that they might want to look into this, since the gear they work with is expensive and not having a dead pixel is better than having a dead pixel.

I had it for a couple of years with no issues, I have no warranty, and it's too old to repair, if the issue was real, it's all downhill from  there.
