Spieth’s new home is an impressive custom-built estate that comes with a host of luxury features, including a 12-car garage, indoor basketball court, pool and golf simulator room.

The golfer reportedly paid US$7.1 million for his new digs, despite it being advertised online for $US9.5 million.

The home is part of the luxury Platinum Series properties built by Mark Moltham in the upscale Dallas neighbourhood of Preston Hollow.

It was previously owned by fellow pro-golfer Hunter Mahan.
