Actor Jason Segel, who made a name for himself on the hit TV sitcom How I Met Your Mother, has reportedly sold his Los Angeles house for $US1.525m.
The Muppets star purchased the four-bedroom three-bathroom cottage in Los Feliz last year for $US1.4 million from journalist Joel Stein and had been looking to flip it and make a tidy profit.
He had originally listed it for sale in May for $US1.599 million, but the Los Angeles Times reports the final sale price was $US74,000 shy of the asking price.
Tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac, the 1939 house includes several original features such as the antique carved wooden front door and vaulted ceilings.
The two-storey bungalow style cottage has been renovated, giving a contemporary feel to this rustic beauty.
The white kitchen with sleek lines and stainless steel appliances is the most modern looking room in the house.
The 178sqm home, which sits on a 477sqm block, also includes a large walk-in-wardrobe, a cellar and a garage studio.
The property sits above Bronson Canyon and has several outdoor areas that make the most of the lush gardens including a patio, deck area with sunbeds, an outdoor lounge and an outdoor kitchen.
Segel reportedly purchased another LA property earlier this year for $US2.25m and has previously bought two home near the famous celebrity hangout Chateau Marmont.
