EW has confirmed that House of Cards‘ Nathan Darrow has been cast as Victor Fries, one of Gotham’s preeminent cryogenics engineers (at least at first). As his character description reveals, Fries is incredibly smart but “struggles to make meaningful connections with others.” And when his wife, Nora falls ill with a terminal disease, Victor tries to figure out a way to freeze her before she dies.
