Introduction: How to Find the Area of a Circle

This instructable will show you how to find the area of a circle.

Step 1: How to Find the Area of a Circle?

Finding the area of a circle might be daunting to some people, so in this instructable I will show you how.

Step 2: Step 1.

The most important part about learning how to find the area of a circle is to know the formula.

The formula is R2xPi. Or if you want to see how it looks if you write it by hand, look to the above image.

Step 3: Step 2.

What is Pi?

Pi is a infinitely expanding number, but you will probably only need the first 3 numbers. The numbers you will use from Pi to find the area of a circle are 3.14

Step 4: Step 3.

In the formula, it states that to find the area of a circle you must use Pi x R2.

R2 stands for the radius times the radius. In this instructable I am going to assume that the circles radius is 4, which means that R2=4x4=16.

Step 5: Step 4.

This is the final step.

To finally find the area of the circle that I am using as an example you would use this formula, A=R2 x 3.14

If you do the math, this equals 50.24

Step 6: Conclusion
