Owned by car designer Radu Muntean, this 1971 BMW 2002 is no garage queen as its keeper regularly takes it for some spirited driving, allowing the upgraded straight-six M20 engine to clear its throat and help the nimble Bavarian coupe carve corners faster.
Petrolicious portrays this beautifully-made BMW 2002 and the passion Muntean has for European cars of the ‘70s. “I’m in love with the European cars of that era, the cars that look a bit more common. I think cars that take a while for you to fall in love with are a little more valuable to me”, says the happy owner.
