The CW on Thursday formalized its midseason and revealed some of its season-finale dates.
Included in the schedule are premiere dates for Julie Plec’s Containment, which is now being billed as a “limited series,” as well as the final season of Beauty and the Beast and the return of Reign.
Containment will have a short order of episodes, but the network is leaving the door open for a second season. It is set to premiere Tuesday, April 19, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, scoring the prime post-The Flash time slot currently occupied by iZombie. The latter series will wrap up its sophomore run with back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, April 12, starting at 8 p.m.
Reign will return with original episodes on Monday, April 25, at 8 p.m. as Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will wrap up its freshman season on Monday, April 18, at 8 p.m.
The summer will see the final season of Beauty and the Beast kick off on Thursday, June 2, at 9 p.m.
