Just a few hours ago we learned that the Meizu MX5 would come with support for fast charging. And now it turns out that the MX5 won't be the only handset launching at the end of this month to boast that tech.
In fact, Huawei's upcoming Honor 7 will have quick charging too. This was revealed today through yet another teaser posted by Huawei for the smartphone. The Chinese company clearly likes slowly building up hype for its next Honor-branded device.
Additionally, it's also announced that it will use sapphire glass to protect the phone's camera. Furthermore, the Honor 7 will come with a physical button that will have customizable functions.
Previously unveiled features include a fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM functionality, and a full metal build. Undoubtedly, Huawei will spill out even more details about the Honor 7 until the official announcement that will happen next week, on June 30.
In past leaks, we've heard that the device will have a 5-inch 1080p touchscreen, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, and Huawei's own Kirin 935 at the helm. Software-wise we expect to see Android 5.1 Lollipop underneath the latest iteration of Huawei's Emotion UI.
As for pricing, it's been rumored to start in China at CNY 1,999 ($322, €287) for a base model, but could go up to pretty steep levels for others.
