Most fashion week shows go a little something like this: rush, rush, rush to the venue. Wait 30 minutes for the show to start, watch the show for 10 minutes, and then you're done. But not the Polo Ralph Lauren presentation. There, cocktail waiters milled about with crudité, mini burgers, and wine and champagne. Also walking around? Some major celebrities including Brooklyn Beckham, Selena Gomez, Ciara, and Tinashe. I chatted with the "2 On" singer about her fashion week theme song, emoji faves, and what it's like to be a fashion week virgin.
How is fashion week going for you so far?
Awesome, it's my first fashion week.

Yeah exactly, it's really exciting to be here.
How are you liking it so far?
The energy is awesome, I had a party last night just to kick it off and get the energy started. You know, it's really fun just to be here and be involved in it. I love Ralph Lauren, I'm involved in their Denim Supply line, you know I'm in the campaign, so it's just really fun to be involved with the brand. Like to be here is a big deal.
If you had to choose a fashion week theme song what would it be?
Um, let's see. It would probably be "We Can't Stop" by Miley Cyrus. Yup, that's my vibes right now. We can't stop, we won't stop.
If you had to pick an emjoi that defines your current mood what would it be?
I think probably the alien face. I'm just, you know, I keep you guessing. You never really know. But definitely intriguing. I'm having fun, this is a cool thing. I'm just observing and taking it all in.
What's the craziest thing you've seen this week?
I think it's just these types of things! Like, live catalogs. It's like there are people modeling right in front of you, and you can see the clothes in real life and you can envision how they're worn on people. It's really cool!
