Job Club And Hope

We hold Job Club each Wednesday. Many who are not ready for a job make fun of it, but there are always a few who come. 

We go over a hope-filled way to look for a job while homeless in the first half. In the second half, we role-play difficult situations that will come up on the new job (so they can keep the job and not feel compelled to quit). 

Here's the thing: almost everyone who comes to job club returns to tell us about the job they got right away. 

Hope can be taught, and I think Job Club is one of the unique and special places we really innovate!
