You won't BELIEVE how much this single garage sold for at auction
A TINY garage has been sold at auction for an eye-watering amount of money.
This garage has been sold under auction for £208,000
The average house price hit £300,000 earlier this week, but how much would you pay for a single garage in south London?
A lot in Tooting Bec - an up-and-coming suburb in London - with the garage for sale has been sold under auction for £208,000.
The make-shift shed boasts a frontage of just 10ft 7inches, and it's said the average width of a car is around 6ft.
Property auctioneers Andrews and Robertson described the garage as being "situated within a sought after residential area".
They added: "Public transport available from the nearby tube station".

With a guide price of £48,000, the garage was sold at auction by Wandsworth Council - and the price simply sky-rocketed.
Jeremy Lamb, director of the auction house, said: "It is a lot of money. I would be surprised if someone had bought it to keep a car or a lawnmower in it.
The shocking revelation comes just days after the news of a 'humble home' sporting an impressive interior went viral.
Situated in one of South Liverpool's most prestigious addresses, through the mint green front door spans a huge seven bedroom house.

Passers-by would be forgiven for giving this flat the bum's rush from the outside: tatty-looking flat above a shop on a little high street.
But opening up the front door one discovers three bedrooms, a dining room and a bath big enough to swim in.
Could it be the humble garage in south London is going to be converted into a similar sprawling property?
