Kate: British 'Vogue' 100th anniversary cover girl

British Vogue has unveiled its 100th-anniversary issue and the cover girl is — you guessed it — the Duchess of Cambridge.

And we're sure whatever Kate wears in that British 'Vogue' photo shoot will sell out like everything else she's seen in.

We've lost count of how many magazines we've seen Kate on (or in) but this one is different.

This one is the first formal magazine photo shoot she participated in, whereas all those other ones were all red carpet, pool, official palace-sanctioned or paparazzi shots. The portrait session was conducted in the Norfolk countryside near their country home, Anmer Hall.

Check out the cover shot of her in a suede coat with wide lapels and a fedora.

"It's a huge honour and incredibly exciting for us to have HRH The Duchess of Cambridge featuring on the cover of British Vogue and as part of our centenary issue," editor-in-chief Alexandra Shulman said in a post revealing the cover Saturday. "For me personally it has been a wonderful experience to have had the opportunity to work with her on this, and I am immensely proud of what we have produced. This special issue of the magazine is very close to my heart as it had to reflect on 100 years of British Vogue, and so I am hugely grateful that we have been able to continue with our tradition of outstanding royal portraiture with these pictures."

The announcement comes a day after her fifth wedding anniversary and two days before Princess Charlotte's first birthday.
