The 59-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians momager told E! News on Saturday that pregnant daughter Kim Kardashian, 34, her husband Kanye West, 38, and their daughter North West, 2, have moved back in with her. The three had lived with her for more than a year after buying a $20 million house and an adjacent, estimated $2.9 million house and beginning renovation work on the properties but had moved out several months ago.
Kris said the two recently returned to live in her home temporarily because they still have more renovations to complete. She dished that she was surprised when Kim asked to move back into her Calabasas, Calif., home, joking that she doesn't have "empty nest" syndrome as a result because Kim keeps coming home!
"Now I have a big family again!" Kris gushed.
Kris made her comments the opening of a Williams-Sonoma store near the family homestead in Calabasas, where she signed copies of her cookbook, In The Kitchen With Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites.
She was joined at the event by boyfriend Corey Gamble and daughter Khloé Kardashian, 31.
In March, Kim, who is currently pregnant with her and Kanye's second child, told E! News she and her family moved into their new house, adding there's "still a lot of work to do" on the new home. Renovation projects included her closet and their kitchen and a bathroom.
Kim appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in May and talked about the experience of living with her mother along with her husband and daughter.
"People didn't understand why we lived with my mom," she said. "After a year and a half, she got really crazy with us and pretty much, not kicked us out, but just was really anxious to get us out. She thought I just got too comfortable and I was starting to rearrange all her furniture in order, different wallpaper. I was going crazy with some of the things in her house, so I wanted to make changes and she wasn't having it. It's better that we're out."
Well, now that they're back home with Kris, it looks like there are may be many more nap times ahead...
