Conor McGregor says he's not retired in foul-mouthed Facebook rant

It's been a weird few days for UFC fans. On Tuesday, Conor McGregor announced proudly on his official Twitter account that he was retiring.
Most people thought he was just joking around, but news out of the McGregor camp made clear that the 27-year-old Irishman wasn't joking around at all. Dana White explained the whole thing by saying that he didn't think McGregor was actually retired, but said that he needed to clear things up sooner rather than later.
Now McGregor has seemed to end the matter once and for all. In a long, rather crude note on his official Facebook page, McGregor explained his concerns:
I am just trying to do my job and fight here.
I am paid to fight. I am not yet paid to promote.
I have become lost in the game of promotion and forgot about the art of fighting.
Took a swipe at the process of promoting his fights:
Sitting in a car on the way to some dump in Conneticut [sic] or somewhere, to speak to Tim and Suzie on the nobody gives a [expletive] morning show did not get me this life.Talking to some lady that deep down doesn't give a [expletive] about what I'm doing, but just wants some sound bites so she can maybe get her [expletive] a nice raise, and I'm cool with that too, I've been giving you all raises.
A threat to his future opponent, Nate Diaz:
I must isolate myself now.
I am facing a taller, longer and heavier man. I need to prepare correctly this time.
I can not dance for you this time.
It is time for the other monkeys to dance. I've danced us all the way here.
Nate's little mush head looks good up on that stage these days. Stuff him in front of the camera for it.
And one final clarification:
I AM NOT RETIRED.
Basically, this is all about promotion. McGregor doesn't want to do as much of it especially because he's coming off a big loss and wants to win his rematch. UFC, though, say he's obligated to promote his fights. McGregor will probably end up doing more than what he wants, but the important thing here is clear: No, Conor McGregor is not retired.
