KORNREICH--David R. David R. Kornreich, 80, died peacefully at his home in Katonah, NY, on October 6, 2015 after a brief illness. Born on January 9, 1935, in New York City to the late Herbert and Gertrude Kornreich, he graduated from the Fieldston School and Tufts University. He served in the US Army in Paris after World War II, coming home to join his father in the insurance business. David retired in 2012, after the brokerage had become Loveman, Kornreich, & Steers. David's great passion was music. He was very active in Friends of Music Concerts, Inc., serving as president and board member for decades. He was an active member of the Choral Arts Society (now the Hudson Chorale) and sang in countless concerts. He served for many years on the board of Copland House. David was married in 1961 to Camille Antoinette Budarz, who predeceased him. In 2014, he married Nancy Dana Gold. He is survived by his wife and his two sons, Geremy Kornreich of Boulder, CO, and Christopher Kornreich and his wife Lourdes Kornreich of Port Charlotte, FL. A memorial celebration will be held at the Ossining Public Library's Budarz Theater on November 1, at 6pm.
