With the push from carriers to switch to unsubsidized phone plans (meaning you pay for the full cost of your handset, instead of having it subsidized up front with the cost then hidden in your monthly bill), the entire deal landscape has changed.

That doesn’t mean you can’t find a good deal this Black Friday, though! There are several stores that are already hyping, and we’ve rounded up the best deals we’ve found so far on the latest Android smartphones.

  • Samsung Galaxy S6 Smartphone for Verizon with $500 in Credits for $26.25 per month for 24 months at Staples
If you switch to Verizon and purchase the phone with a monthly payment plan, you’ll receive a $400 Visa gift card and a $100 bill credit. That’s like getting a $500 rebate. After you consider the $630 you’ll pay over the course of 24 months, it’s like a net cost of $130 for the phone, which is the best offer we’ve seen for this flagship phone on Verizon.Of note, if you really hate Verizon enough to pass up a $400 gift card, Walmart offers this phone with a slightly bigger billing credit of $150 and let’s you can choose AT&T or Verizon as your carrier. They also throw in a gift card, but it’s “only” $100.
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge 32GB Smartphone for Verizon with $500 in Credits for $26.25 per month for 24 months at Staples
Though we’ve seen this phone offered for less than what you’ll pay with this offer, over the 24 months of your payment plan, this Staples promo includes a $100 bill credit and a massive $400 gift card that ultimately makes it the sweetest deal on this phone. So, if you’re in the market for an Android phone, and don’t want the Samsung Galaxy S6, you have options!
  • Unlocked Motorola Moto G 8GB Android Smartphone for $100 at Best Buy
But, seriously, if you don’t want a Samsung Galaxy, there are other options — but not necessarily high-end, flagship options. Though, after seeing the total prices you’re expected to pay for unlocked smartphones, we’re guessing this $100 model might come as quite a relief to your wallet! The Moto G has gotten rave reviews as the best cheap Android phone, too, so it’s probably the best bang for your buck this Black Friday, especially since this would be the lowest price we’ve ever seen for this phone.

If you really want a subsidized device to save the hefty upfront fee, there are some great Black Friday deals to be found on those, too — including:

  • Samsung Galaxy S6 Smartphone for Verizon, Sprint, or AT&T for 1 cent at Target
Though it’s certainly the best deal we’ve ever seen on this phone, keep in mind that it’s currently available at Best Buy for $1, with a 2-year contract. Still, Target’s offering is almost a full buck less, if you want to wait a couple weeks… and then wait in line to try and get one in-store.
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Android Smartphone for Verizon, Sprint, or AT&T for 1 cent at Target
An amazing price, we can not find any evidence that we’ve seen a phablet sold for this little before; therefore, if you buy it, you’ll be part of history! (Not only for getting a giant phone so cheaply, but this might be the last subsidized phone you’re going to buy.)

If there’s nothing here that excites you, don’t worry, as it’s still early. Also consider that the one merchant who has a penchant for discounting lots of Android smartphones around this time of year, Amazon, doesn’t release a Black Friday ad.

There’s still hope that they’ll come out swinging with some non-Samsung phone discounts!
