Yesterday came word that Sony Pictures had registered a domain name suggesting that “Spider-Man: Homecoming” could be the title of the Tom Holland-led upcoming reboot of the “Spider-Man” franchise.
Now, AICN has learned the company recently registered three more domains which could potentially hint at the title of the collaboration with Marvel. Those domains suggest the titles: “Spider-Man: Coming of Age,” “Spider-Man: Greatness Awaits” and “Spider-Man: Suspended”.
One difference is ‘Homecoming’ ties back into a specific “Spider-Man” storyline. Though it hasn’t yet been revealed what source material or story might provide the plot for the new film, talk of its 1980s John Hughes-style vibe does fit.
Whatever it’s called, the new film is slated to open July 2017.
