Leaked specifications for LG’s upcoming Nexus 5 reboot promise significant improvements to its rear-facing camera, including a laser autofocus sensor. They also confirm the device will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 808 processor and 3GB of RAM.

We’ve seen leaked images of the new Nexus 5, and many rumors have revealed certain internal components. Now a leaked specifications sheet posted on Chinese micro-blogging network Weibo confirms all the juicy details.

The image comes from a reliable source who have previously published screenshots of Nexus 5 benchmarks, but there’s one thing you should note: These specifications are for a prototype device, and they could change before the Nexus 5 makes its official debut.

For now, however, we’re looking at an octa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, which is a huge improvement over the 5-inch 1080p display found in the original Nexus 5. There are also big improvements to its camera.

The device is expected to pack a 13-megapixel Sony sensor with optical image stabilization, which will be accompanied by the same laser autofocus sensor found on LG’s flagship G4.

We would have liked to have seen the same 16-megapixel camera for the G4, too, which is widely regarded as the best smartphone camera on the market right now. But hopefully this one will be just as good for smartphone snappers.

The Nexus 5 is expected to make its debut this fall alongside a larger Nexus smartphone from Huawei. Both handsets are likely to be the first to run Google’s new Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
