Taylor Swift has developed a reputation as quite the charitable celebrity, donating thousands to public schools and fans in need. For her latest contribution, she’s partnered with Scholastic to donate 25,000 books to New York City schools.

As part of the “Open a World of Possible” initiative, the Scholastic Possible Fund will give 25 schools 1,000 new books each, they announced last week. Swift has supported the campaign since last year, when she and Scholastic released a 30-minute video in which she talks to children about the importance of reading.

The campaign seeks to reach out to parents, educators, and children and encourage reading in young kids, and the Scholastic Possible Fund has donated millions of books worldwide to children in need. Other celebrities who have joined Scholastic’s initiative include Usher and Sarah Jessica Parker.
