Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy says that it’s inevitable a future Star Wars movie will be directed by a woman:
It is going to happen. We are going to hire a woman who’s going to direct a Star Wars movie. I have no doubt. On the other hand, I want to make sure we put someone in that position who’s set up for success. It’s not just a token job to look out and try to find a woman that we could put into a position of directing Star Wars… If we do want to bring a woman in to direct a Star Wars movie, we want to make sure that it’s somebody who’s passionate and really, really wants to do a Star Wars movie. We don’t want to talk somebody into it.

Game Of Thrones
Souad Faress has been cast as a “High Priestess”. She is currently filming her part, and given that the show is filming Dothraki-heavy scenes in Spain, speculation pegs Faress’ priestess as being involved with the Dothraki Khalasar that picked up Daenerys at the end of season 5. [Watchers on the Wall]
The U.S. Ambassador to Spain has tweeted a few pictures from a visit to current filming in Almería:
Meanwhile set reports from the same filming from Spanish fansite Los Siete Reinos has a few details of the scene being filmed, which sees Drogon burn a Dothraki temple to cinders—and that Daenerys allegedly walks out of the burning wreckage unharmed, gaining the instant adoration of not just the Khalasar that found her, but multiple Khalasars.
The scene, which also purportedly features Jorah and Daario spying on the huge Dothraki encampment as they wait to rescue Daenerys, will feature a multitude of extras (roughly 400) playing Dothraki from multiple tribes/Khalasars, coming together for a meeting—presumably about Daenerys—that ends in a huge brawl and a celebratory event... typically one and the same for the Dothraki. Will Daenerys find herself with a massive new army of Dothraki at her back, now that she’s without the Unsullied? [Watchers on the Wall]
Agents Of SHIELD
Powers Boothe has joined the series as Gideon Malick, a “notorious man whose loyalties remain a mystery” who will appear in a recurring role during the third season. [Marvel]
Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters
The planned second movie has been scrapped, ahead of a reboot in the form of a TV series. Presumably, stars Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton will not return. [Deadline]

Here’s a synopsis for the seventh episode of the current season, “Mommy’s Little Monster”:
