This year will be our 6th annual Chocolate, Dessert and Wine Lover’s Evening to take place on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at The Marriott Hotel in Stamford from 6-9pm.

The event benefits Shelter for the Homeless which serves more than 500 homeless men each year. For the first time this year, there will be a VIP pre-party for sponsors and shelter major donors at 5:00 pm.

Thanks to the generosity of approximately 65 purveyors, participants will enjoy “tasting” a myriad of desserts, chocolate confections, savory samplings from local restaurants, and wine and other beverages. Guests will also have the opportunity for early Valentine’s Day shopping at one of the many exciting boutique booths.

Past exhibitors have included Barcelona, Burgers Shakes and Fries, Cabot Creamery, Darien Cheese Shop, Bad Louie’s Fudge, Olio, Kona Grill, and Ten Twenty Post, plus many other local establishments.

The event has drawn a large crowd of about 400 business people and donors every year. As one person commented “it is the best networking event in the area.” It also provides awareness of our mission in the community.

Tickets are only $60 per person. Tickets purchased at the door on February 5 will be $70. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ShelterForHomeless.org or by calling 203-406-0017. Parking will be complimentary. One-hundred percent of all ticket sales will support the mission of the Shelter.
