A scary video has emerged of a large silverback gorilla trying to attack a zoo visitor through the glass of his enclosure.

The footage, filmed at Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska last week, shows Kijito the silverback charging and jumping into the glass when the selfie-taking visitor has his back turned to the enclosure.

Bizarrely, the man seen in the video seems fairly unfazed by the attack and remains straight-faced throughout.

Clanggggg: According to the filmer, the very same gorilla broke a window at the zoo last year. 'He is quite the character and plays with us whenever we go to the zoo,' they wrote online
