When gorillas attack (badly): Dramatic moment Kijito charged man taking selfie at zoo... but knocked himself senseless on the glass

A scary video has emerged of a large silverback gorilla trying to attack a zoo visitor through the glass of his enclosure.

The footage, filmed at Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska last week, shows Kijito the silverback charging and jumping into the glass when the selfie-taking visitor has his back turned to the enclosure. 

Bizarrely, the man seen in the video seems fairly unfazed by the attack and remains straight-faced throughout.

According to the zoo the cutting-edge exhibit and management facility allows Omaha to be a major player in gorilla conservation and makes possible the eventual expansion of the city's gorilla population to 20 animals of all ages and sexes.
