Summary
The news is going crazy, it had been for the last six months. A vigilante has taken to the streets of London England and no one can catch him. He has an army of homeless Veterans at his disposal and a heart of gold. Anyone who has run into the vigilante simply calls him 'The Captain' and sings of his good deeds, never a bad word leaving their lips about him. But Scotland Yard wants his head, he's in too deep. Every night, like clockwork, the Captain live streams from his body camera. An old piece of military hardware he wears to expose just what happens when the sun goes down. She was practically a seeress, if there were such a thing. Her words echo as one of many constant reminders and unwanted mental pop-ups of memories that don’t feel like going away no matter how I attempt to drain them with experiments and cocaine and alcohol (I already drank through what was in the flat, John’s whiskey being one of the many things he had forgotten and left behind). The cocaine is all that sustains me now as I leave experiments and food and Everything unattended to and rotting in favor of mentally spinning myself pleasant lies and battling memories of unpleasant truths."
