'Madonna hasn't seen the Incredibles' Twitter's hilarious #nocapes reaction to THAT fall

IT WAS meant to be her big comeback after 20 years away from the BRIT Awards, but today it's not Madonna's singing that Twitter users are talking about.

Instead, the social media site is still buzzing with clips of the Queen of Pop taking a tumble on stage just minutes into her performance of Living For Love.

The hashtag #nocapes quickly began trending worldwide as fans hilariously tweeted: "Madonna obviously hasn't seen The Incredibles"

But while many were having a laugh at Madge's expense, her true fans praised her for continuing with the show.

One Twitter user wrote: "After what happened today at the Brits I respect and love @Madonna even more! a strong woman falls but delivers an exceptional performance!"

Another added: "I mean come on! Gotta give it up to  @Madonna for being the Queen and a true pro. She got up and killed it when most would have stayed down!"

Even some celebrities got in on the Twitter action, with Brian McFadden tweeting: "Madonna's performance was very 50 shades of grey, but getting dragged down stairs by the throat by a dancer is taking it too far!"

BRIT Award hosts Ant and Dec joked: "Ta for all your lovely messages, we really enjoyed it. We're stuck in A&E with @Madonna. Still an hour wait ... "

And just a couple of hours after her embarrassing fall, Madonna took to her Instagram page to reassure her fans that she was alright.

Posting a picture of the long black and red cape which caused the tumble, she wrote: "Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I'm fine! #livingforlove."

She later posted another snap of her standing on stage at the end of her performance with the caption: "Loves Gonna Lift Me Up! #livingforlove."

However, despite the mother-of-four insisting that she was fine, it's unsure what happened backstage following the grand finale.

Twitter users took great delight in suggesting that "heads are gonna roll" after her red and black cape was pulled from her too early.

"This morning we are praying for Madonna's backing dancers & whoever tied THAT knot. We are thinking of you guys!," one user wrote, while another added: "I would not want to be one of Madonna's backing dancers right now...Wowzers!!!"

However, one of the star's former choreographers Carlton Wilborn was keen to dismiss those claims and revealed that when he worked with Madge, there was hardly ever any slip-ups.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain today, he said: "Well I think because she was aware that the complication actually came from her end, which was again that the knot was too tight, I think she probably would have been laughing about it and said 'can you believe that just happened?'

"I don't think her character or emotions are scarred by what happened, i think again, her body is fine. And these things just happen."
