FanDuel Begins Airing Ads on CNN

by | Aug 27, 2015 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

For the first time ever a Daily Fantasy Sports site, in this case FanDuel.com, has begun to advertise on 24-hour cable news network CNN.

FanDuel and its rival DraftKings have marketed heavily on ESPN and the major networks during sporting events such as NFL Sunday.

The FanDuel ads began airing on CNN this week.  Details of the advertising deal were not immediately known.

FanDuel recently raised $275 million in fresh investment money this month and planned to use a significant amount of those funds for marketing purposes.

The Daily Fantasy Sports site received heavy exposure its first day advertising on CNN Wednesday with larger-than-average viewers tuning in with the shooting deaths of two Roanoke news personalities during a live morning newscast.
