DFA chief still richest Cabinet exec; Mar’s net worth declines


(Updated 3:32 p.m.) Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Albert del Rosario was still the richest Cabinet official last year, and he’s getting richer.

Del Rosario’s declared net worth in 2014 rose to P838,809,918.82 — an increase of over P7.3 million from his 2013 net worth of P765, 379,281.02.

Education Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro remained as the poorest Cabinet official, with a declared net worth of P471,064.46 last year.

Interior Secretary Mar Roxas, the administration’s presumptive standard-bearer for the 2016 polls, meanwhile, declared less wealth in 2014, amounting to P202,080,452.71.

In 2013, Roxas declared a net worth of P211,027,479.88.
