The Lone Wolf Traveler is an Asian American male who writes about his "sexcapades" in great detail and aims to make a profit from teaching other men to do the same. His book, currently ranked #1 on Amazon in Asia Travel (?!) supposedly details his one-week excursion in Hong Kong where he claims to have had a "sex crazed vacation with the local Hong Kong girls". He claims that being an English-speaking expat is enough to "lure" the girls into having sex with him, and that Hong Kong girls and those who have come to Hong Kong to work as domestic helpers are "desperate" for men and sex, thus making them easy to exploit.

As women of Hong Kong, we find this offensive and disgusting, and fear that it will promote the idea that Hong Kong women welcome all sexual advances made by men. We also fear that it will bring on a rise in unwanted sexual assault and harassment on women in Hong Kong based on these false presumptions. Furthermore, we believe that it amounts to an infringement of privacy for the actual women featured in the book, as it supposedly details actual exchanges, including e-mail conversations, that led to sex. There are sexually-explicit pictures on his blog, in which he also claims that a similar book about Korea is to be released soon. We find this book despicable, and we are deeply disappointed that Amazon is selling such a book on its website. We ask that Amazon REMOVE THIS BOOK based on its misogynistic and sexist nature.

Lastly, we ask that Amazon review its policies regarding the books and materials sold on its website, which is easily accessible to readers of all ages.
